About the Artist
Danni started quilting about forty years ago, flying in her usual method - by the seat of her pants. She had learned to make clothing as a teenager and tackled quilting similarly. When she retired about 11 years ago, she joined the Denman Quilters Guild and learned all sorts of useful info. Example - you can put the layers of a quilt together ("sandwich it") by using safety pins instead of straight pins. WAY LESS PAINFUL!!! She generally is happiest making her own designs using photos for inspiration but has been known to occasionally follow a pattern and will also make quilts following requests.
